Camera is on a vacation

I do believe that my camera took a vacation. I think it is hiding somewhere in my house. I've looked under cushions, in closets and in the car. No results as of yet. Any suggestions.
Tom and I had a great weekend. We enjoyed a nice concert at the Courtyard on Saturday. We get such a kick out of all our senior friends down there.

Let Me Brag Please

Casi had an awesome review from one of her parents. I know she wouldn't share this over the internet but I sure can.
Congrats Casi.
Your questions: I don't know who the girl was that did my son's 4th Grade
class "Walk Through California" (his teacher is Mrs. B. and this was
around May 29th I think or?) but I had to comment on her presentation.
One word: Awesome.
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed her teaching, and the 2 1/2 hours
seemed to FLY BY. I was really impressed on how she made the ENTIRE event

attention grabbing, funny, educational and FUN! I learned so much and
never had to use "Sentence Juice" Hahahaha
It was by far the BEST school event I have attended - major kudos to her
and I really hope she gets credit for such a great job! I think her shirt

said "Cali" but that may be a pun on California? Anyway, excellent job
and I would appreciate someone getting back to me to acknowledge this
e-mail.
Thank you so much! It was a very memorable day for both me and my son!

Cranbrook, Canada

Tom and I enjoyed the beauty of Cranbrook, British Columbia. This 30,000 something city is surrounded by a beautiful mountain range with Fisher Peak being the central focus.
We encountered two brand new fawns on a mountain drive, Forte Steele (an old mining town that is open to the public) and plenty of delicious food. I loved the grilled chicken pantinni sandwhich at East Side Marios. Unfortunately we couldn't find our digital camera before we left so we are unable to share our photos. We had to resort to a cheap 35 mm that we bought at the drug store. Photos will not be around for another week at least.
We did take pictures of a beautiful old church that Tom was intrigued with because of the architecture and setting. It was out in a grassy valley with this beautiful snow-capped mountain range in the background.
On the other side of the street from the church was a casino with an old hotel. Parked outside the casino were several Lamborghinis, a Rolls Royce, Ferraris and other cars that I am unable to spell. Tom was in amazement that so many expensive cars were all together in one place.
We managed to drive old green past the expensive cars and that was a special moment.

Lilac Time

My father in law gave me a lilac transplant many years ago. Every year when they bloom I think of him and his kindness. He also had a great love for gardening and that is something I am trying to cultivate.
