Brrrrr!

Kar and BT arrived home last Sat night after driving through a winter blast with Dan, Sam and Curt. Teenagers and twenty somethings are so fun. Can't wait for the rest of the clan to arrive. It is soooooo cold outside. (minus 10 - 15 degrees with the wind chill factored in)

Sweet Adelines Serenading

These ladies are energetic and fun and have amazing voices. One of the many FREE activities that we have been enjoying in the community this holiday season. Thank you to talented women that sing well and are willing to share their talent.

Christmas Fashion Show With Friends

Delicious food and classy clothes were a part of the Christmas fashion show at the resort. Watching the little toddlers walk down the catwalk was the highlight of the show. It was a fun afternoon with Heather, Megan and Sandy.

John Angus Stewart's General Store

Today I did some research about my grandfather's general store in Grand Anse, Nova Scotia. The store is no longer there but thank goodness for people that took photos and kept records!

I Won a Bun Cooler

I entered a contest at the local gas station to win 100 dollars worth of free gas. They called yesterday and told me I had won a bun cooler instead. I couldn't figure out what that was until I went to pick it up.

President Obama, Wendy and Shauna
