Let it snow!

Over the past 24 hours we have had over 2 feet of snow and it keeps coming down. It may reach 3 feet of snow by the time it stops .

Brrrrr!

Kar and BT arrived home last Sat night after driving through a winter blast with Dan, Sam and Curt. Teenagers and twenty somethings are so fun. Can't wait for the rest of the clan to arrive. It is soooooo cold outside. (minus 10 - 15 degrees with the wind chill factored in)

Sweet Adelines Serenading

These ladies are energetic and fun and have amazing voices. One of the many FREE activities that we have been enjoying in the community this holiday season. Thank you to talented women that sing well and are willing to share their talent.

Christmas Fashion Show With Friends

Delicious food and classy clothes were a part of the Christmas fashion show at the resort. Watching the little toddlers walk down the catwalk was the highlight of the show. It was a fun afternoon with Heather, Megan and Sandy.

John Angus Stewart's General Store

Today I did some research about my grandfather's general store in Grand Anse, Nova Scotia. The store is no longer there but thank goodness for people that took photos and kept records!

I Won a Bun Cooler

I entered a contest at the local gas station to win 100 dollars worth of free gas. They called yesterday and told me I had won a bun cooler instead. I couldn't figure out what that was until I went to pick it up.

Ron, Tom, Wendy and I watched the election returns together. Barack Obama became the President elect. He needs our prayers.

Oct 29th was a big day for Thumbelina and her new fiance. They were engaged at a party and of course she could only say yes to the man of her dreams.

I was able to meet up with my two older brothers while visiting this past September. We had a great visit and enjoyed the lovely city of Ottawa as well.

Grandma Jerry's 80th birthday party

About 22 of us ate at the Steamplant Grill for Jerry's b-day lunch. She turned 80 years young.

Casi Comes to Visit

Casi arrived in town last night to attend a surprise lunch for Grandma Jerry. We have been cleaning the house, making jiffy rolls, looking at pictures (geneology), and chatting. See posted picture.

Uncle John and Aunt Anna took us out for a great steak dinner when we went to visit them in Toronto.  We snapped a photo when we were leaving the restaurant.  Don't they look great?!

Jr Miss Girls

We have 3 lovely girls staying at our home and participating in Idaho's state Jr Miss competition. Am, Ca and Ae are amazing talented young ladies and we wish them well in their upcoming events at the end of the week.

Chapter One

Tom and I dropped off our two youngest kids at college two days ago and now we are evolving into a new phase of our life. I hope it will be as exciting as the last 32 years. Raising children has been incredible. We loved the opportunity to have such amazing kids. They made us grow, learn , laugh and love.
